We're pleased to announce that we’ve put everything into October Half Term this year and as such, we've added even MORE fun, games and entertainment to make our October Half Term Gala Week Entertainment Schedule even BIGGER and BETTER than before!
You can view our family activity and entertainment schedule on our October Half Term pages and with everything from Spangles the Clown to Fireworks and a Halloween Spooktacular there really is nowhere better to be this Half Term.
If you’re venturing out during your stay, we’re pleased to recommend two excellent Halloween events in the area:
HALLOWEDEN
Dare to be scared at Halloween at the Eden Project this October Half Term. Go on a mystical journey through the Biomes and create a special magic potion to protect and ward off the spooks.
Other highlights include: Meet some amazing owls, get your face painted, visit the Wishcraft Tent, view amazing pumpkin creations, watch a spooky shadow puppet play of Hansel and Gretel and travel through the tunnel of terrors.

HELIGAN HALLOWEEN
This October Half Term, Heligan’s magical and mysterious woods will play host to a spooky Halloween Trail. Brave adventurers are challenged to creep along the lost trail to uncover the spooky goings on – will you receive a fright or delight?
Other highlights include:
Discover the Halloween Yurt where you can gather around the fire to enjoy enchanted tales, spooky art activities in the craft tent, create your very own willow wand, draw ghosts and creepy spiders using chalk and Heligan charcoal as well as the opportunity to make a herbal dream pillow – to scare away the spooks! You’ll also be able to marvel at the wonderful display of Heligan grown pumpkins and step inside the pumpkin booth to peek out and be part of our pile of pumpkins!
