Global Pasty Championships (Saturday 28th February)

This Saturday, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are hosting the Global Pasty Championships. Taking place on the Saturday before St Piran’s Day, this new event brings together bakers, families and food lovers from Cornwall and beyond for a joyful celebration of pasty-making, music and Cornish pride. Plus, you only pay what you want to visit the event. Line Up is as follows: 10.30am - Pirates of St Piran / 12.45pm - The Tregony Teachers / 2pm - Strange Almond / 3.15pm - Global Pasty Championships award ceremony / 3.45pm - Hedluv + Passman / 5pm - Close

Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival (Fri 12th - Sun 14th June 2026)

The largest FREE nautical music and song festival in Europe! Falmouth has a proud and long history as a first safe port of call for deepwater sailing ships - and therefore shanty singing! - and this event celebrates it all. Expect over eighty groups from across the UK, Europe and further afield, performing classic and contemporary shanties in many town and quayside locations.

Golowan Festival in Penzance (Fri 19th - Sun 28th June 2026)

Golowan is an annual 10-day festival of events that culminates in a street festival on the last weekend in June where thousands attend a spectacle of giant wicker models paraded through the town, street performances, street music, theatre, and the Golowan live music and DJ Marquee. This annual event is much loved and is the biggest event in the calendar for this southwest Cornish community.

Mevagissey Feast Week (Sun 28th June to Sat 4th July 2026)

Just a 6 minute drive away in the harbour town of Mevagissey, this annual festival is bursting with things to do for all ages! From Sunday 28th June to Saturday 4th July 2026, expect live music, parades, prize draws, local food, raft races, fish feasts, exhibitions, choirs, flora dances, demonstrations, kids’ activities and a massive firework display! Location: Mevagissey Harbour, Cornwall PL26 6QQ

Falmouth Week (Fri 7th - Sun 16th August 2026)

Located in the stunning beachside and harbour town of Falmouth, this annual event is a major attraction for locals and visitors alike. Originating from a local sailing regatta dating back as far as 1837, the week has evolved into a week of major sailing competitions, live music, entertainment, and many daytime and evening activities throughout the town. There will be carnival floats, fairground rides, a climbing wall, music from local musicians, an eclectic market, Falmouth Art Gallery workshops, and evening entertainment.

Fowey Regatta (Sun 16th - Sat 22nd August 2026)

Fowey Regatta and Carnival is one of the UK’s best known sailing events with a long history. This family-run day also has many traditional land-based events including Carnival procession, fireworks, crab-catching, harbour swim and live music.

St Ives September Festival (Sat 12th - Sat 26th September 2026)

The St Ives September Festival returns for a fortnight of music, arts and cultural events set against a stunning coastal backdrop. With performances and exhibitions taking place everywhere from intimate cafés to St Ives Theatre, the varied programme features live music, poetry, talks, open studios, theatre and film, alongside free outdoor entertainment that animates the town’s cobbled lanes and open squares. This vibrant and diverse festival is a joyful showcase of creativity, uniting residents and visitors alike in Cornwall’s artistic heart. Location: Saint Ives, TR26 1LH

Mevagissey Shanty Festival (Fri 16th - Sun 8th October)

This proper Cornish festival is back for another year! 〓〓 Our local harbour town comes alive with shanty singers, bands and live peformances - and plenty of good food and drink! Book your short stay with us and catch the bus from outside our park straight to the festival.

CMC Riviera Run (Sat 2nd - Mon 4th May 2026)

Pack your bags for a three-day festival like no other! Every May bank holiday, the Riviera Run is held at our sister site, Pentewan Sands Holiday Park, attracting an impressive show of Minis and classic cars, plus a whole host of entertainment, live music, and delicious food and drink!

Royal Cornwall Show (Thu 4th - Sat 6th Jun 2026)

Arguably Cornwall's biggest event of the year, this agricultural festival brings you a celebration of farming, horticulture, entertainment, food, funfairs and more! Location: The Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Whitecross, Wadebridge, PL27 7JE
