Family Fun

Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival

Friday 13th - Sunday 15th June 2025. The largest FREE nautical music and song festival in Europe! Falmouth has a proud and long history as a first safe port of call for deepwater sailing ships - and therefore shanty singing! - and this event celebrates it all. Expect over eighty groups from across the UK, Europe and further afield, performing classic and contemporary shanties in many town and quayside locations.

Golowan Festival in Penzance

Friday 20th - Sunday 29th June. This 10-day festival of arts, performances, culture and parades is not to be missed! This quaint seaside town comes alive with activites, music and life as the locals celebrate long treasured traditions and make new ones along the way. It's your chance to party like the locals!

Truro Children’s Day

Date: Saturday 21st June 2025. Truro BID will be bringing back Children’s Day for the eighth year! Fun will be the theme for Truro City Centre with many businesses and organisations making children and young people their focus for the day with many free entertainment and activities.

Festivals, Food and Live Music

Homecoming at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Friday 13th - Sunday 22nd June

This 10-day celebration of literature, art, culture, and food features talks, demonstrations and performances from the likes of Gwenno, Jeremy Deller, Lally McBeth, Merlin Sheldrake, Satish Kumar and Seth Lakeman. Explore the themes of home and of belonging through Wildflower Walks, Family Foraging Sessions, Beaver Tours, Art Classes, Ocean View Morning Yoga – and Heligan Lost Suppers. £1 from each ticket sold will be donated to support St Petrocs and a new Red Squirrel enclosure on-site—helping to provide safe homes for both people and wildlife in Cornwall.

Mevagissey Feast Week, Sunday 29th – Saturday 5th July 2025

Just a 6 minute drive away in the harbour town of Mevagissey, this annual festival is bursting with things to do for all ages! Expect live music, parades, prize draws, local food, raft races, fish feasts, exhibitions, choirs, flora dances, demonstrations, kids’ activities and a massive firework display! Location: Mevagissey Harbour, Cornwall PL26 6QQ

Falmouth Week, Friday 8th - Sunday 17th August 2025

Located in the stunning beachside and harbour town of Falmouth, this annual event is a major attraction for locals and visitors alike. Originating from a local sailing regatta dating back as far as 1837, the week has evolved into a week of major sailing competitions, live music, entertainment, and many daytime and evening activities throughout the town. There will be carnival floats, fairground rides, climbing wall, music from local musicians, an eclectic market, Falmouth Art Gallery workshops, and evening entertainment including performances from Scouting for Girls!

Fowey Regatta, Sunday 17th - Saturday 23rd August 2025

Sunday 17th - Saturday 23rd August 2025. Sailing, fireworks and gig racing fill the beautiful town of Fowey with festive celebrations this summer. Head along for a fun day out for the whole family.

St Ives September Festival, Saturday 13th - Saturday 27th September 2025

A two week of music, arts, fun and food! Location: Saint Ives, TR26 1LH

Pentunes Festival, Friday 19th - Saturday 20th September 2025

This autumn, Pentewan Sands Beach comes alive with a brand new music festival. Organised and run by the same team that brought you Tunes in the Dunes, expect a weekend of music, wellbeing and beach activities at our sister park, just a couple of minutes away.

The next major exhibition from National Maritime Museum Cornwall, celebrates a century of surfing in Cornwall, and reveals how the county has become a global stage for surf innovation, activism and a trailblazer in blue health.
